Course Description

This course is designed to provide attendees a comprehensive understanding of shea butter’s clinical properties and benefits. Emphasis is placed on ingredients, grades types, colors, and sources. The clinical properties that separate shea butter from all other vegetable oils will be discussed in detail.

Certified Shea Technician training is designed to provide a full understanding of shea related cosmetic and personal care products. The course is well suited for persons, buying/selling brokering, and others involved in various transactions of shea related products. The course will highlight the clinical properties of shea butter as an important first step in formulating shea related products. Additionally, to increase sales of shea butter, market education is primary. This is due to the fact that less than 10% of the US and Global market is familiar with the benefits of shea related product.

By Understanding the various quality Grades of shea butter, such as A, B, C, D, a shea technician is better qualified to educate their clients and provide a competitive advantage to the products they sell.

This internet enduring material is a case-based, interactive presentation comprised mainly of text, interactive questions, and images. A variety of media, including video clips, audio clips, and Flash animation, may be presented. Links to any necessary plugins are provided when necessary, but no plugins are required for general use of the ASBI website, and you may skip the multimedia presentation(s) within the course if you choose.
